About Fat Dog on Campus

Hello and welcome to our café Fat Dog on Campus.

You will find us situated in the W block of the Polytech, (the hub of the campus where everybody loves to come and chill with a fatdog coffee and cake under the shade nets)

Our operating hours are 8:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday - We are closed on Public Holidays

Due to the expansion of the Fat Dog business we have ventured out and are now operating the main café at Waiariki Polytech.

We offer excellent service and products and have a great team of staff that are friendly and enjoy meeting new people. You can meet our staff here.

Our aim is to provide more healthy eating options for students along with all the favourites they love like hot fries all deep fried in cottonseed oil. We also offer all the Fat Dog favourites like Aunty Anne's homemade caramel slices, custard squares and cookies.

Our espresso machine also proves to be a big favourite with staff and students offering a wide range of exotic Fat Dog coffees like Vanilla Lattés, Caramel Lattés and chai moccas just to name a few. All our coffees are made by our well trained Barista's.

Outcatering is another service we offer and this is done through another of our businesses The Catering Company. We have all the information you need at the Café or you can order online here  (Please note this is only for people on the Waiariki Campus)

Whether it be morning tea or lunch come in and say hi. Or maybe you just feel like chilling on the many couches we have lazing around and put your feet up.
