Service Delivery Goal

To reduce the incidence of smoking amongst Turanganui A Kiwa Whanau

The Smoking Cessation programme is a FREE 12 month programme targeting smokers 18 years and over. It consists of:

• Weekly visits for 8 weeks
• 3,6,9,12 month follow up
• Nicotine Replacement Therapy

• On going education / support

Education and Health Promotion focuses on raising awareness of:

• Auahi Kore
• Legislative Changes
• Effects of Smoking
• Positive Activities

These can be delivered to groups or individuals.
